‘Escapism’ by TEHI
I set myself the task of writing and recording a promotional video in ten minutes. I pretty much did it… maybe a couple of minutes into extra time! The moral of the story is still the same. Although TEHI is moving on to the recording of what will be a gargantuan second album… the first, ‘Escapism‘ still needs to be heard by the masses. You can play a small part in the history of this band by downloading it and, hopefully, enjoying it!

The cat picture’s only in the studio temporarily until I sort out hooks in the hallway!!! I’m also unsure about the continuing relevance of the reindeer.

Haha! Glad to hear it was real 🙂 when the writing appeared on the screen saying ‘just a little ditty’ I originally thought it said ‘just a little kitty’ , what with the cat pic an all! 🙂

Ha ha! The JD was real. It was early in the day and I was trying to get my throat into ‘evening’ mode… bearing in mind I knew I had only one take! (and JD always works as a prop… especially when you’ve got Guns n’ Roses on the wall in the background! Slash would have (before he went clean) been proud!).

Was the JD real or a prop? I think taking ten minutes to just have that natural impromptu flow can help to generate new ideas for longer stuff. I liked it and now you have me thinking.
